I started as a crop insurance agent in 2009 in Lubbock and Morton. I worked for a large agency with excellent, experienced agents. I was very blessed to learn the crop insurance business from these knowledgeable co-workers. From 2012 through 2015, I worked as the Compliance Manager for ARMtech Insurance Services, the only Texas based crop insurance company out of ten companies nationwide. At ARMtech, I was able to hone my crop insurance knowledge as my position called for in-depth knowledge of the entire federal crop insurance program. With ARMtech, I managed internal compliance and review administration along with external administration and communication with the USDA’s Risk Management Agency. These two initial professional experiences made me confident that I could open and manage my own crop insurance agency.
On January 1st, 2016, I launched Green Crop Insurance Agency with an office in Bovina, TX. Without knowing how this might turn out, I can now say that it was the best decision of my professional life. We have always focused on building real and lasting relationships with our clients, knowing their operations, and helping to navigate the volatility of farming and ranching with sound risk management principles. Green Crop Insurance has grown, we now employ six fully licensed crop insurance agents with offices in Clovis (NM), Farwell (TX), and Plainview (TX).

Devin McQueen grew in Brownfield, Texas, where farming and faith shaped his early years. His background in agriculture and agronomy gave him a first-hand understanding of the challenges producers face each season. Devin brings that same perspective to Superior Risk Management, combining practical experience with a math- driven approach to help farmers make confident, informed coverage decisions.
Devin believes insurance is more than a policy- it's a way to be a good steward of the land, the operation, and the family legacy that farmers work hard to protect. His goal is to take the guesswork out of risk management so producers can make decisions with clarity and peace of mind.
When he's not working with farmers, Devin enjoy spending time with his wife, Tristyn, and their three boys, Brently, Straton, and Warren. They love gardening, hunting, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoying a life rooted in faith, hard work, and family.

lonnie mcfarland
Licensed Agent, Green Crop Insurance
Lonnie McFarland grew up in Farwell, Texas, farming with his grandpa and uncle. That background in agriculture led him to a career in crop insurance, which he began in 2023 at Green Crop Insurance.
Lonnie and his wife, Salida, have three kids—Kylie, Alli, and Sawyer—who stay busy with sports and showing pigs.
As a family, they enjoy ballgames, spending time together at home, and cheering on the Red Raiders at Texas Tech football games.
They believe success starts with faith, family, and a willingness to work hard in everything they do.
leslie ellis
Licensed Agent, Green Crop Insurance
Leslie Ellis is originally from Durant, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Silo High School in 2005 before continuing her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In 2017, she relocated to Muleshoe, Texas, after meeting her husband, Colt. Together, the Ellis family owns and operates Ellis Funeral Homes, serving Muleshoe and the surrounding communities with compassion and dedication.
Leslie began her career in crop insurance in 2018 and, in 2021, joined Rhett Green as an agent. She is passionate about the industry and values the strong relationships she has built with customers. Known for her commitment to excellent customer service, Leslie takes pride in supporting producers with both professionalism and genuine care.
Beyond her professional life, Leslie stays busy helping Colt with his various business ventures and raising their two daughters, Bentlee (10) and Parker (2). The family is often on the road, traveling across multiple states as Bentlee competes in swine shows. In their downtime, they enjoy traveling with friends, playing golf, and spending time on the lake.

Rachel Armstrong is a retired Supervisory District Conservationist with 30 years of service at USDA-NRCS, where she led conservation efforts across the Clovis, Tucumcari, Roy, and Clayton field offices.
Since 2018, she has continued her commitment to agriculture providing a service to farmers and ranchers as a crop insurance agent.
Rachel and her husband Brent farm near the Grady community, raising wheat, grain sorghum, hay, and cattle.
When she’s not working, Rachel enjoys lending a hand on the farm, spending time with family, traveling, and tending to her yard.

Jennifer Williams was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in business from Wayland Baptist University, she joined her grandfather, Charles Williams and her father, David Williams in the family insurance company in 1999.
Williams Insurance has always specialized in agricultural insurance. David Williams, who grew up farming, instilled his love for farming and agriculture in his children, which made him one of the very best crop insurance agents in the area. He was thrilled to have another generation continue with him; the Williams family has now been in the ever-changing world of crop insurance for over 30 years. Jennifer enjoys the business and working with all their great customers (friends).
When not working, Jennifer is an active, lifelong member of
First Methodist Church, where she taught preschool Sunday School over 25 years. She joined the Mental Health Resource Board of Directors as a
Curry County representative in 2015, where she continues to work with other counties to provide the best care for people in New Mexico.
She is grateful for the legacy her father built and for being part of such a great team to continue to provide people with the best knowledge and customer service in the crop business field.
